}122{ I’m the worst
So, I’ve been meaning to actually make a post for some time now… mainly to catch up on the things I’ve not yet posted… Like June & July everything. I’ve received my August items as well, so I need to get on the ball for those too!!
So a lot has changed… I was in the process of getting my teeth cleaned and using my benefits for good use, when I found out I would be leaving the company I worked with for 5 years. August 7th was my last day with them, and I only found out that I actually got another job on July 31st. So I took a big chance!
So far, I’m happier where I am, though things are a bit insane right now. I have a hard time adjusting to questions that are repetitive and people getting ahead. I find it very disruptive to my learning, and makes things feel like they take a serious amount of time longer. It often makes me fall asleep because as soon as I get tired I can’t handle it any longer.
But outside of that, I seem to be doing well and look forward to working on my own soon! I really enjoy a few people in my class, and look forward to working and becoming friends with those interested.
Work has a H2O contest right now. So people in the center make teams of up to 10, and each day we record how many ounces we consumed each day. I’m working on 3 full bottles a day. That is, the bottles they gave us which are 27oz. So far, I’ve been successful in this but it’s only day 2!
I have been terrible with going to the gym, so I won’t even lie about it. But hopefully, we will get back into the swing of things. It’s been really hot and humid here, which I love but also find I’m more tired with.
Dale also had his last day with his job on August 7th, and is trying to get on with a company now. So hopefully that will work out, because right now funds are really tight because of it. We will make it through, as things are looking good right now!
I got to see one of my long-term favorite bands play on the 8th of August! Which is Finger Eleven. I even managed to get a picture with Scott Anderson, picked up a copy of their album and got it signed. Was a pretty amazing experience. It was just in a small venue, so it was very cozy and so much fun!
I also managed to win a plushie from the Excel contest I had entered. So I’m now an owner of a cute little donut guy! Though, I really wanted the coffee cup, haha!
Today, I received a random sample box from Shoppers Drug Mart, so I’m stoked to try out the items! I got a couple samples from TRESemme, Dove, and Nexxus.
I’m going to try to get my blog caught up over the next couple days. We’ll see what I can do! I might just do all the late months lumped together for each box and start over.
I’ve also gotten my awesome Industrial Strength clicker! It’s totally gorgeous. If I remember, I’ll try to get a picture up to share. I’m also about one session and some touch-ups away from my tattoo being finished. I can’t wait to show it to you all!
