One Direction – The Looks Collection & Giveaway

I had made a recent entry on Facebook about being accepted into a BrandBacker campaign. It’s time for some insight into this campaign!

I will be blogging and testing One Direction’s ‘The Look’ collection. I’m excited to be able to be part of this campaign and test and share my experience with you. This also brings a chance for you to win the collection yourself! They’ve provided me with a widget (which is below) for you to be able to enter for a chance to win. Giveaway is only available to those who reside in Canada and the US. Before we get to the the giveaway, let’s take a look at the collection!

“The Looks Collection” is a set of three keepsake tins inspired by One Direction’s globe-conquering albums, “Up All Night, “Take Me Home” and the latest chart topper, ‘Midnight Memories.” Each tin has illustrations included to help you get your perfect look. To top it off, everything in these tins is housed in a Limited Edition collectible keepsake tin!

The product will be distributed worldwide, but will begin in the US. International release dates are still to be determined, but listed below is the release dates for the US:

For those who don’t know, One Direction (or 1D) are an English-Irish pop boy band based in London. They signed with Simon Cowell’s (The X Factor/American Idol/Britain’s Got Talent) record label Syco Records after finishing third on The X Factor in 2010. Social media propelled them into international success. They have three albums (of which these keepsake tins are modelled after) Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012) and Midnight Memories (2013). The song most people recognize them for is “What Makes You Beautiful”.

Now, let’s take a look at the collections! Each collection comes with:
